Simply recycle Rite in the Rain as you do other office paper. Furthermore, all our cover materials used on Rite in the Rain products (Polydura, Field-Flex, and Fabrikoid) are all recyclable using standard curbside recycling programs.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF MANUFACTURING PROCESS
The process involved in the manufacture of Rite in the Rain paper was designed to have ultra-low impact on the environment. The water based coating process emits only steam and all mill off-cuts are recycled back into the paper-manufacturing stream. All printing plates and processing liquids are recycled. 100% of printing inks are soy based. The modern facility and equipment are designed to be energy efficient.
RECYCLED FIBER CONTENT
Rite in the Rain All-Weather Writing Paper is a patented substrate created for use in outdoor writing situations. Since this paper is designed for use in extreme conditions it is manufactured with the most durable yet recyclable components available. Recycled content pulp, as a result of the repulping & reprocessing involved in recycling, produces a “weaker” substrate due to the shortened fibers. This inherent weakness reduces the field-durability of paper and as such is not used in the manufacture of Rite in the Rainpaper. It is one of the rare instances where virgin fiber adds significantly to the end-product function. Papers designed for “office or indoor” uses do not require this strength and as such can contain recycled fiber. This all being said, the wood fibers we utilize for Rite in the Rain are purchased from SFI certified sources. By doing this it insures our product is manufactured with high environmental and social standards and practices.

Been using for a few years and thoroughly recommend for any weather conditions.
Two big pluses here: printing on BOTH sides, so one card will get you through two matches. The second big plus for me is you can stick this in your shirt pocket behind your yellow and sweat will not mess it up. I'm now using these for all matches, regardless of weather conditions. Only knock on it is the space to actually write in is really compact.
These definitely work quite well in the rain. (I prefer a pencil to a rain pen, but it works for both.) I’ve used them in both light and heavy rain. The paper is heavier and sturdier than a normal sheet and it does not tear when wet.
My only complaint, and the reason for knocking off 1 star, is that the score sheets are advertised as 6” x 4”, but their actual size is 5.5” x 4”. The 1/2 inch less does make a difference as the paper does slip out of the plastic sides of the referee wallet. Still, I referee serious games and I would not consider officiating in wet conditions with traditional paper.
Finally- an actual paper that repeals your gross hot mid-day southern summer sweat. I swear A LOT. These hold up & are surprisingly made of some kind of paper. Not plastic. I purchased the refcils with these & they are perfect together && double sided! Great purchase, they work better than your index cards, even your reusable score sheets. If you’re looking for the perfect score sheet- it’s these! Buy them! You won’t regret it.
Hi - These sheet are working real well for me!

First time out, needed to use these in heavy rain and they worked very well. I prefer these over the league-provided sheets, as they are easy to capture needed info. So glad I ordered two packets. I'll be using them all winter!
Like being able to use both sides !
I have enjoyed having these for my rainy games. The hold up well.
I bought these mainly because they had the score sheet on both the front and back of each sheet - I figured they would be the best value. I really like the feel of them, plus not having to write in the necessary lines/info on the blank back side is really convenient. I've also used them on those nasty rainy days that only spring soccer season brings, and they work way better than plain paper - I can actually still write on them when they get rained on. I'll definitely be getting these again.
