Easy, Intuitive Operation 

A new display-based menu system makes setup and operation straightforward. The bright display remains clearly readable in daylight, allowing users to quickly view and adjust settings in real-world conditions. 

The Yapalong-7000 is designed for use with Bluetooth headsets and offers substantially improved Bluetooth connectivity compared with previous generations. When paired with a standalone PTT (Push-to-Talk) button, users can communicate quickly without having to reach for the radio, keeping operation discreet and unobtrusive. 

Flexible Open-Mic & Push-to-Talk Communication

The standard Yapalong-7000 configuration supports:

• Up to 4 OM (Open-Mic) users, or
• Up to 3 OM users + unlimited PTT users
• An OM user can also be configured as a PTT user with a dedicated talk slot
• Regular PTT users can share 1 or 2 common talk slots

This flexibility makes the Yapalong-7000 particularly well suited for soccer, football, and rugby officiating crews, where reliable, immediate communication is critical.

For applications requiring additional open-mic users, the system can also be customized to support additional OM users.

Subgroup Communication

The Yapalong Subgroup function allows smaller groups of users to communicate privately within a larger communication group. Subgroup operation can be accessed using either the PTT Button II or the X/O keypad button.

This makes the Yapalong-7000 especially useful for applications such as football coaching, where different coaching groups may need separate communication while remaining part of the overall system.

Because subgroup requirements vary between users and organizations, this functionality is available through customization and is not included in the standard firmware.
