These markings are extremely resilient until any solvent is applied (even bug spray, sunscreen, etc.) for easy wipe off. Pencil may be used as a secondary option.

My go-to gameday cards
I bought these one year ago after using other write-on cards for game days. I've only used pencil on these cards. Easy enough to erase after a game but strong enough to keep anything written while officiating in the rain. In my experience the material on the cards last around one year. Very good for the price. I'm back again to buy another set for the second year.

Write on cards
Brought these as was looking for a write on card with one clear side to show to the player most I’ve seen have been double sided.
These cards are sturdy easy to write on with pencil or a fine marker pen(my personal choice) and fit into pockets nicely. Great buy!
